Engineering services for structural design of a 12,000 sq. ft. recycling processing facility and 3-story office building. The purpose of the facility is to assist the municipality in managing greater volumes of material efficiently; make it possible to manage more of the recyclables generated in Crawford County in support of reaching a 35 percent recycling goal; improve the program's cost effectiveness and ensure the long term sustainability of recycling in the County; and to provide a cost-effective processing option for municipalities and businesses in bordering counties that are not currently served by other facilities.
Engineering services include review of regulatory codes; preparation of design criteria and loads; preparation of calculations, construction plans, specifications, construction cost estimates; and, bid and construction phase services that include shop drawing review and construction phase site visits.
Construction Cost: $2,000,000.00
