Engineering services to prepare and complete contract documents for design of two (2) 6'x32' Capacitor Bank concrete pads. The pads are slabs-on-grade with turned-downed edges to minimize frost-heave. Includes a design of 19'x78'6” steel platform with railings and access stairs to support a control room and substation. The steel-framing is anchored to concrete piers designed by Gannett Fleming, Inc. Our design is based upon operating loads and equipment and building layouts provided by Smith Miller Associates.

Engineering services include review of existing construction plans, specifications, and reports; on-site verification of existing conditions; structural analysis of existing structural systems; review of regulatory codes; preparation of design criteria and loads; preparation of calculations, construction plans, specifications, construction cost estimates; and, bid and construction phase services that include shop drawing review and construction phase site visits.
