Engineering services for structural analysis of current roof framing load capacity to determine load limit for an Air Handling Unit. Analyzing the roof framing system using 35 PSF roof snow load and a 17 PSF dead load in combination with the 5,200 pound load applied by the proposed SAC-44 Unit, we determined the existing roof framing system has adequate load-carrying capacity. We also recommended steel angled framing to support the unit at duct openings.

Results of the analysis were incorporated into a structural narrative that describes existing structural systems, equipment loads, building dead and live loads, design criteria, analysis methodology & identifies deficient structural elements. Existing structural systems and highlighted deficient structural elements were documented on sketches.
